With increased attendance and donations come an increase in credit card processing fees. We're anticipating a substantial jump this year, due in part to an increase in patrons resulting from two newly opened theatres.
Some processors, such as Network for Good, offer NPO's an interesting option that helps retain the total value of a contribution: they provide the option of asking donors to consider increasing their donations to cover the cost of credit card processing fees. At one point in time, Network for Good advertised the opt-in rate, which was over ~80% when I implemented it for another nonprofit years ago.
Would Agile consider adding a feature like this (optional, of course) at check out for Donations and Memberships? I guess this would be a simple pop-up? It sure would help out all of us nonprofit theatres!
