Would love to see the addition of a Display Name field for Agile CRM emails going out. (Right now, if I send the CRM emails from "info@ifccenter.com", the From 'name' displayed in the recipient's mailbox is "info.") Would love to be able to override this display name so that we could add a name or something different (IFC Center Communications; DOC NYC Ticketing) when sending these types of communications.

We have addressed the issue in the "Emails and Letters" area in portal and made it a little easier to understand. There is now a "From Display Name" that you specify along with the email. This will provide the nice name correctly formatted with the emails. See the screenshot below.

Javier Chavez Asha, you can work around this by putting the email address in < >. This is how we do it at Gables Cinema. For example...
IFC Center Communications <info@ifccenter.com>
...will show the sender as IFC Communications.
Our membership emails are set up like this:
Gables Cinema <membership@gablescinema.com>
Just be mindful that a "name" like IFC Center Communications will probably be cut off in the inbox and only show up in full when the email is opened. That's why we do Gables Cinema instead of our full name, Coral Gables Art Cinema.
This'll even show up in the preview pane - and when you email yourself a test.

IFC Center Javier, you are an angel! I was looking for this work around syntax on the world-wide-web and hitting surprising walls, so I really appreciate the quickly reply and tip.

If you are using the new "Emails and Letters" CRM area in portal we have found that the name syntax that Javier recommended is not working as expected. We are working to get that adjusted. I will report back once we have it resolved.
