It would be great if we could quickly change users when an employee steps up to use the system to make a sale. PCI compliance requires each employee who uses the payment system to have their own unique ID to trace transactions. As it is now if you want to sign out a user and sign a new one in, you are kicked out of the POS mode and have to type in a user ID and login. This takes a considerable amount of time, especially on a touch screen. The customer must wait patiently while this change happens.
If would be much quicker if there was a pop-up to allow a user to enter a user pin or possibly a use a card swipe to authenticate.
