Making merge fields available to add to Confirmation Text for Memberships, Donations

We would like to include Agile account configuration instructions and the member numbers of new and renewing members in the Confirmation Text emails that are automatically sent after purchase. However, there doesn't appear to be any way to insert fields from Agile records into these messages. It would be great if they could be personalized!
