How to use Event Check In in Web Portal

The Event Check In feature in the Agiletix Web Portal allows you to mark attendees as present without scanning tickets. It’s ideal for events like galas where guests are manually checked in. Since the Web Portal runs in any browser, you can use it on an iPad, iPhone, or any device with internet access.

1. Log In

2. Access the Event

  • From the left-hand menu, click on Events, then click Showings.

3. Open the Check-In Screen

  • Find your event in the list of showings.
  • Click the eventcheckin2.png Check Mark icon next to the event name.

4. Check In Attendees

  • You'll see a list of orders sorted alphabetically by last name.

  5. Quick Check In

  • Click Quick Check In to check in all tickets in an order if the full party is present.

  6. Partial Check-In

  • Click the customer’s name to view individual tickets.
  • Check the box next to the guest who has arrived.
  • Click Check In Selected to confirm.

 7. Search for Orders

  • Use the 🔍 Search icon to find orders by:
  • Last Name
  • Order Number
  • Last four digits of the credit card
  • Barcode number
  • Ticket Type or Row/Seat

8. Filter by Alphabet

  • Click a letter (e.g., A, B, C…) to quickly jump to attendees with last names starting with that letter.

9. Monitor Ticket Status

  • At the bottom of the screen, you'll see:
    • Total Tickets Sold
    • Tickets Checked In (Redeemed)
    • Unredeemed Tickets
    • Tickets Printed
  • These numbers update in real time as check-ins occur.

10. Run the Gate Control Report

  • Use this report to view total attendance and a breakdown by ticket type.
