Agile Multi Tools - Multi Event Price

Agile is full of features and tools that will save you time when you have to do a lot of work at once but these are not always easy to find. Here we are going to have a look at where to find them and what they can do for you.

All of these tools are found in the Admin side of the Agile App so first you must sign in.

Multi Event Price

The Multi Event Price tool can be leveraged to makes price changes across a large number of similar events or add a price from one event to many other like events. To access this tool you must first navigate to your show or event prices and right click the one you wish to copy or change and select Multi Event Price.

The Multi Event Price Window will open and present three options which are Propagate, Modify, and Delete. Below those three options will be looked at in depth.

The Propagate option is used to add a price from one event to one or more other events. With a selection dot next to Propagate you will see a list of events with the same Tier Inventory and Venue populate in the bottom field. You can use the available date field to select a point in the future to start finding these events but the default is left at today. Select the event or events you want to copy this price to (hold Ctrl to select specific events and Shift to select a large group or all) and then click apply and ok to commit this change. Checking List Template will swap the available list to templates this price can be copied to.

If the price you are propagating is present on multiple tiers or sales channels  you must perform this action for each tier and sales channel separately at the price level

A potential use case for this tool is adding a price to your daily admissions after having built several months worth of days before realizing you missed some.

The Modify Option is used to make changes to a price and any price that shares its tier and sales channel. With a selection dot next to Modify the system will fill the middle window with any other instance of this price. Select any or all of the prices you want to make this change to by holding Ctrl to select specific events and Shift to select a large group or all.

With your events selected you are now ready to make your changes. Below you will see the tabs and setting that we have access to in this mode, to access any of those settings you must first unlock it for changes by clicking the grey box to the left of it. With the setting unlocked you can now access the drop down menu or check boxes for that setting and make changes. Once done click Apply and Ok to save and commit your changes.

A potential use case for this tool would be adding a Promotion code which wasn't in place when a series of shows was built or disabling a ticket type you no longer want to sell.

The Delete option has the one function of helping to delete a price across many events at once. This option can best be used right after creating those prices as once a price has been used for anything by the system you would only be able to disable it. If you see True in the Sales Occurred column you will not be able to delete this price.
